With mixed weather since my last news back in August both the Ladies & Gents have only managed to complete  two competitions each.

The ladies have played their September medal which was won by Marena McClymont with a fine net 69 and the Centenary Cup which was won by Chris McIntyre.

The gents have played their Presidents Putter which was won by Richard Tulloch. This with an amazing 9 putts on the back nine and a great score of 64 + 23 putts = 87. Today they played for the Roddy Hermon XV Cup which was won by Brian Duguid with 32 points.

Our junior coaching programme is continuing with some excellent coaching by professional Ross Murdoch. The juniors attending these sessions are all finding the benefit and their skills are definitely coming on.

The Captain has asked me to ask if anyone has any old golf balls they would like to donate to the junior practice bag. If so this would be much appreciated and they can be left at the clubhouse anytime.

The Week Ahead

Saturday 23rd – Ladies Medal Final Day.

Sunday 24th – Alas this is closing day when we will play a Texas Scramble for the Knocknalling Trophy followed by goodies in the clubhouse. Entry Sheets are in the changing rooms or you can let me know by e-mail and I will add your name to the draw.
