I have been a little remiss in keeping the Seniors News up to-date, but here goes. 16 players took part in the league after two weeks when we had snow and inclement weather. Dave Aitken won the league with a brilliant 29 points playing off 3. His back 7 of 17 points comprised one bogey and two 2’s at the par 3’s. He now has a commanding lead with a 184 point total, Ian Brown on 177 and Brian Duguid on 175. Equalling Dave with 29 points were Brian Porteous and Wave Tyrrell. Stuart Rhodes won the second division with 24 points taking him into the first division. Lynda Brown came a worthy second loosing another shot. Since Lynda is the only survivor in the second division the executive has decided to stop the second division for the rest of the season.
It was decided to play the 18 hole Trophy ay Glenluce on 21st March and the second round of the 36 Hole Trophy at Dunskey on 4th April.
The question was raised on how is it be possible to score 98 point team score. The answer is to have one net eagle, 15 net birdies, 8 net pars and 1 no score.
