The weather this month has been mixed although we where blessed with a fantastic day for Captain's Day. The day began with the now annnual 9 hole junior competition for the Les Burton Trophy. The winner once again was young Chloe Aitken with a fine net 31, however much praise must go to little Sophie Roberts who although still under 10 years of age played her heart out to come a close second with an amazing net 32. Ladies Update – 26th June 2019

This Wednesday brought the annual bogey competition - the Shipley Trophy. A lovely sunny day again in the Glenkens and eleven masochists set out for the harsh format (effectively you play against yourself on a good day).   I had the pleasure of playing with a new member Alison for the first time and Lady Captain.
